HOW to apply
If you are not a U.S. citizen and plan to attend USW on an F-1 student visa to pursue an undergraduate degree, you are in the right spot and are one step closer to officially becoming a Mustang!

Follow these steps to apply as an International Freshman:
completed your application?
Once your application and all required documentation has been received, allow three (3) business days for your application to be processed. Upon receipt and processing, you will be sent an acknowledgement via email by the Director of Undergraduate Enrollment. After admission to the program, you will be issued a Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status – For Academic and Language Students). Next steps, additional information, further requests (if applicable), and initial admission decisions will be shared via email.

If you are then offered admission to USW, it's time to start planning for Annual Student Orientation! You will receive details for this via email.

Admitted international students should also make arrangements for their International Check-In, which will be scheduled with you via email.
