Special Education (Non-Licensure)

MSE

The Master of Science in Education (MSE) in Special Education (Non-Licensure) program is designed to equip graduates to work with learners who have special needs and advanced intervention techniques that can make a difference in their level of academic achievement. By acquiring an in-depth knowledge of the characteristics, needs, and research-based intervention strategies for learners with special needs, students will be able to enhance their performance and skills as they deal with the diverse students they encounter in a general education or special education classroom. Through examination of state and federal special education law, educators who want to help students learn can benefit by earning a graduate degree in special education. Passion plus professional expertise can equal success and satisfaction for children and educators alike.
